About Us:Welcome to HartsAfire Mini Aussies. Come on in and look around! We have what we consider to be one of the best breeds out there today.
I have had the pleasure of being owned by Aussies for 2 9 years. I was given my first Aussie when I was 9 yrs old. It was a red merle small standard female with 2 striking blue eyes and she only stood 16 inches. I have been hooked ever since – to me there is no other breed. I have never seen a breed of dog that has such an uncanny way of adapting to just about any situation or individual. They are loyal (to a fault), hard working, versatile, very intelligent and beautiful all rolled into one package.
There is something about these dogs that when you look into their eyes they can look into your soul and at that exact moment you are one!
I am a hobby breeder. My dogs are first and foremost a part of my family. We have small standard and miniature. We will occasionally have litters throughout the year. We want to produce QUALITY not QUANTITY and your next family member, working dog, show prospect or couch potato that adhere to the breed standard. The Miniature Aussie is everything the standard Aussie is only in a smaller package.
We live on a small acreage in rural Iowa with lots of trees and land surrounding us. My husband, our 3 young children, grandparents and myself will start socializing the pups at an early age and they will be exposed to kids, cats, other dogs and country life within their first few weeks. I feel this is very important in the development of their minds.
Our pups/dogs are KID TESTED MOTHER APPROVED!!
I will do my best to help you pick out your next best friend. I will also be asking you a lot of questions to help me find each pup their forever home.
Our pups will be current on all vaccines and worming for their age before going to their forever homes. They will come with a puppy packet that will include their registration papers, a health certificate and some miscellaneous information that I hope will help you with your new puppy.
Our miniatures are registered with MASCA and NSDR.
